According to Tass news agency, the Iranian ambassador address a press conference in Russian capital Moscow on Wednesday saying that certain Western countries have embarked on creating crisis and threat in vicinity of Russia and Iran.
"Some Western countries are starting to create threats and crises near our countries and pose problems to us,” he said, adding, “The way I see it, the time has come for us to find a solution together on these issues."
"Some of these challenges and threats stem from the restrictions that the Western countries, including the United States and some European countries, impose on other states,” Jalali noted.
He argued that sovereign states, who are pursuing their independent policies, are facing threats from the enemies.
“I think that now is the time to implement synergy in order to find a way of solving these issues and jointly fight the threats and challenges that our countries are confronted with," the envoy urged.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Jalali informed that negotiations between Iran and the secretariat of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) on the free trade zone have come to an end and that the documents of the consensus will be handed over to parliaments of Iran and five other member states of the union.
